ABOUT THE PERFORMERS

At the crossroads of rhythm and emotion, MCE emerges as a dynamic force in the world of hip-hop soul. Born from a shared passion for the people expressed through music. Founded in 2008, MCE is an ensemble of artistic minds that weaves powerful narratives into every lyric and note.

MCE's signature sound is a fusion of gritty urban poetry and soulful melodies that ignite the soul. With influences ranging from classic Motown to the small southern Black town of Pine Bluff, they craft musical journeys that take listeners on a rollercoaster of emotions. Their lyrics speak of life's trials and triumphs, love and loss, and the endless pursuit of dreams; interwoven with knowledge of self and self-love.

"But MCE is more than just music. We are a cultural movement, a catalyst for positive change. Our lyrics tackle social issues, shed light on unspoken truths, and inspire action. We believe in the power of art to create a better world, one verse at a time."

The members:

Obafemi (Magnum) — The emceeing New Renaissance man with bars and beats.

Ced Adamz — The emcee hailing from Chiraq with the gritty and commanding flow and amazing wordplay.

Eshmelek — The soul singer whose voice resonates with heartfelt emotion, touching the depths of human feelings through his music.
